I started March by opening the new Local Anaesthetic Unit at QVH, which will help cut waiting lists and ease pressure on theatre space. Most of the month was dedicated to planning my Charity Ball in April, which was worse than planning a wedding! I then gave a tour of East Court to children from our twinned town in France, who loved jumping over the Meridian Line. I also got to indulge my inner child by opening the model railway exhibition at Sackville School.
