Our beautiful lower terrace is ready for you to customise your event or celebration. With the option of four different session times.

The Meridian Line passes through the award-winning formal gardens of the mansion house making this a truly unique space with sweeping views overlooking Ashdown Forest.

Events, picnics or just a social gathering

Whether elaborate or intimate the East Court lower terrace is now available to host your special event. The terraces are available for hire between June and September only.

Community Groups

Whether you meet monthly, weekly or just occasionally the choice is yours. Bookings will only be accepted if there is no conflicting booking on the upper terrace or in the East Court Buildings.

The Meridian Hall is the ideal location for your corporate event, meeting and community event, with its principal accommodation on the ground floor, the hall can accommodate up to 200 people.
