Peter Monnery, the Managing Director of East Grinstead’s Community Radio Station 107 Meridian FM, announced that after a brilliant year, 107 Meridian FM has been nominated for a National Radio Award.
Presenter Guy Bellamy has worked with a number of musical greats over the year; the Shires, Marillion, Toto and many other World leading artists including local Nick van Eede of Cutting Crew. His insightful and often humorous questions have delighted guests and audiences alike, and 107 Meridian FM are thrilled to see Guy’s work celebrated in the nomination of our station for “Best Music Entertainment Producer” against nationals BBC and Classic FM. A remarkable achievement that shows how the quality and style of East Grinstead based 107 Meridian FM is reshaping perceptions of community radio by punching well above its weight.
As the station’s slogan says, ‘Live Local, Love Local’ a sentiment with which your Town Council fully agrees!
Congratulations to all involved.
