After the war Harold was living in Bryanston Square in London and married his first wife Eliza Alison Russell at the Church of St Saviour in Sept 1919.
Later, in Jan 1952 he married Phyllis Hedger Crogan (1907-1988), daughter of Grace and Nicholas Crogan from Graffham near Petworth.
According to Mrs Makolski Mrs Barker [Phyllis Hedger Barker] worked as a cleaner for Helen Beale and lived at Standen in the flat opposite Helen’s bedroom with her elderly husband.
When Harold died in 1963 at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead, Phyllis Hedger Barker moved away to live at 13 Monmouth Close Mitcham where she died in 1988. Harold’s probate registration indicates that his address was listed as Standen when he died.

Both are buried in Mount Noddy Cemetery in an unmarked grave.

MUSGRAVE Arthur David – Brigadier General Grave Section 1C No. 481 Died 12/09/1931. Aged 57. He was in the Royal Field Artillery and was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (DSO) Also, his address is shown as Hurst-an-Clays which is where Hurst Farm Road runs through and one of the roads leading off this is Musgrave Avenue. He died of heart failure in Scotland, while on a sport shoot.
