After a break for Xmas and the New Year, we are back and ready for another run of great comedy nights in the second part of Season 3.

 

We have a great line up this month as always all the info on the comedians is listed below so have a quick read and see what is in store for the 2nd of Feb.

We have a great line up of comedians with the winner of the BBC new comedy award of 2011 Angela Barnes. As well as having the winner of the London New Comedy Award 2010 Don Biswas. Lastly our headliner this month is the amazing Stephen Carlin who is featured on the award wiining TV show STEWART LEE’S COMEDY VEHICLE.

THE LINE UP

MC: LLOYD GRIFFITH
Hailed by FHM as ‘the next big thing’, Lloyd is used to performing on the stage
having come from a career as a professional classical singer.
With a matter of fact sarcasm and energetic outlook on life, this operatic stand up will cut you down with a turn of phrase only the fi nest opera
greats can carry off. Even though only been going since 2009, Lloyd regularly
performs at Downstairs at The King’s Head

ANGELA BARNES (WINNER OF THE BBC NEW COMEDY AWARD 2011 )

DON BISWAS (WINNER OF LONDON NEW COMEDY AWARD 2010)
His unique set combines both razor sharp one-liners, with humour about having Dyspraxia and mild traits of Asperger’s. “Don Biswas is a unique performer who boldly takes to the stage despite suffering from Dyslexia, Asperger’s syndrome and Dyspraxia. A phenomenal gag teller with an
engaging stage persona, Don Biswas shows all the signs of a truly great comic”. Hecklers Comedy Club.

STEPHEN CARLIN (AS SEEN ON STEWART LEE’S COMEDY VEHICLE)
“Ready to become at the very least a cult favourite among
fans of the sharper end of stand-up”. The Guardian Carlin has earned critical
acclaim, accolades and a growing fanbase with his original and insightful writing style and accomplished delivery. He is very enigmatic
act, using a unique pattern of delivery to amuse the audience with very
unexpected and off the wall references.
