East Grinstead Sports Council meeting

The next quarterly East Grinstead Sports Council meeting will take place on Wednesday 9 July at 7.00pm. It will be held in at Kings Centre at Moat Road, East Grinstead RH19 3LN.

In the meeting room. Free car parking is available on site. Please check in at Reception.

A popular opportunity for our representatives to informally mingle, share their news and make new contacts.

2. Introductions  – Bob Shelley

Before we move on to the agenda we’ll all introduce ourselves to each other.

3. Sports News – Bob Shelley

Some brief news updates about local sport.

4. Kings Centre – Stuart Etherington – Centre Manager

Stuart will explain the role of Places Leisure with Mid Sussex District Council and the operation of the Centre in local leisure and fitness.

5. Mid Sussex Active – Caroline Stafford

We regularly hear Caroline’s updates on the great work MSA do to supplement our schools’ activity offer. She will explain more about their remit, how they operate, and the comprehensive programme of events that they provide for our young people.

6. Junior Motorsport – Mike Duncan

We do not normally hear much about junior grass roots motorsport locally. Mike will share with us an insight into this world through the example of his talented go kart racing son Ed.

7. Club Updates

Our Club representatives will share with us their current situation, their successes and any challenges they face.
