THE High Street traffic was stopped and passers-by paused at noon today, in remembrance of the victims of last week’s Tunisian beach massacre, which saw defenceless holidaymakers – many of them British – gunned down as they lay on their sun loungers.
Their murderer, a terrorist who had hidden a gun inside a beach umbrella, was later shot by police.
