Election results for Mid Sussex Constituency

Nicholas Soames retains his seat as the elected Parliamentary Member for the Mid Sussex Constituency following the result of the General Election on 7th May.
The General Election results for the Mid Sussex Constituency are as follows:
- Nicholas Soames (Conservative Party) 32268 votes – Elected
- Greg Mountain (Labour Party) 7982 votes
- Toby Brothers (UK Independence Party) 6898 votes
- Daisy Cooper (Liberal Democrat Party) 6604 votes
- Miranda Diboll (Green Party) 2453 votes
- Beki Adam (Independent) 958 votes
- Baron Von Thunderclap (Official Monster Raving Loony Party) 328 votes
On election day (7 May 2015), there were 75 polling stations in the Mid Sussex District, which were open all day from 7am -10pm. The total number of people eligible to vote in the Mid Sussex Constituency was 81,034 and the turnout was 71.2%
Local elections for Town and Parishes also took place on the same day and these votes will be counted on Saturday 9th May with the full election results available on the Mid Sussex District Council website at www.midsussex.gov.uk/elections.
