AFTER a 17 hour count of all the votes cast in the local Elections, the Conservatives were declared winners late last night of all 19 of East Grinstead’s Town Council seats.

The new Town Councillors are as follows:

Ashplats Ward:

Liz Bennett, John Dabel, Danny Favor and Jacquie Russell

Baldwins Ward

Margaret Belsey, Nick Hodges, Julie Mockford, Norman Webster

Imberhorne Ward

Bob Mainstone, Frank Osborne, Rex Whittaker

East Grinstead Town Ward

Edward Matthews, Norman Mockford, Adam Peacock, Peter Wyan

Heronyte Ward (returned uncontested)

Christine Mainstone, Adam Reeves, Dick Sweatman

Worsted Ward (returned uncontested)
