TOWN Mayor John Saull attended a hockey match between East Grinstead first team and Reading in a clash which raised funds for resurfacing the home team’s water-based pitch.

The players included more than 20 current England and GB internationals, but despite his support, Grinstead were defeated 3-2 by their Reading rivals.
