THE Outdoor Services Team has been working hard over the past quarter to ensure that the town is tidy and well kept.
Since the beginning of March they have removed two incidents of graffiti covering five square metres and taken down 352 items of fly posting.
The team has also completed the first application of weed killer on curbs and pavements throughout the town using a new product, Nomix, which is a unique low volume herbicide application system. It is more lightweight than the knapsacks the team was using in the past, and as there is a minimum amount of drift, it can also be used in windy weather.
