IT is with great sadness that the Town Council has learned of the death of Dot Joyce-Nelson, wife of 2006/7 Town Mayor Jim Joyce-Nelson.

It is understood that Dot, who had been in poor health for the past few years, passed away in the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath on 5 May.

“Our condolences are sent to Jim and his family at this sad time, “said Town Clerk Julie Holden.
