DETAILS of the arrangements for the next Town Counciil election on 7 May have now been released.
 
EAST Grinstead Town Council will have 19 councillor seats in contention across 6 wards.
Candidates who wish to stand in the election must follow a specific process and submit official forms to Mid Sussex District Council, not East Grinstead Town Council.
Nominations will open on 30 March and continue to 9 April 2015. The election will take place on Thursday 7 May  2015 should sufficient nominations for a contested election be received.
Wards:
  • Ashplats  –  4 Councillors
  • Baldwins  – 3 Councillors
  • Imberhorne  –  4 Councillors
  • Herontye – 3 Councillors
  • Town (North and South amalgamated with 1 additional seat) – 4 Councillors
  • Worsted –  1
