TOWN Mayor Nick Hodges found himself unexpectedly in the limelight at Sunday’s concert given at East Court by the Mindelheim Town Band when he was invited by the conductor to take the baton.

According to onlooker Roy Henderson the Mayor acquitted himself well – although he was the only band member not to be wearing lederhosen.
