THE new team running the family friendly Pavilion restaurant at Chequer Mead are Rob and Nikki Ward.

Nikki was formerly the facilities manager at the town rugby club, and the pair have also run Legendary Catering Services in East Grinstead for the past three years.

They are now looking forward to showcasing their traditional cuisine featuring steak and ale pies, sausages and lasagne in their new town centre location where they hope customers will enjoy their menus – and coffee at just £1 a cup.
