THE Town Council has written to congratulate two local bus companies on new routes which have proved popular with town residents.

The 400 route by Metrobus connects East Grinstead to the Redhill hospital for the first time, and the South Down 509 route runs from East Grinstead through Felcourt, Lingfield, South Godstone, Godstone and Caterham.
