The Line
The Civic News was first published during the 1990/91 mayoralty of Melvin Phillips. It came out twice a year between then and 2002 when, to comply with the requirements of the Quality Council regime, it was required to be published quarterly.
It is still published four times a year, now under the name The Line, and the seasons are reflected in its changing colours, ice blue for the winter edition, pale green for the spring, yellow for summer and russet for autumn. It is delivered to 14,642 homes home in East Grinstead; is available pick up points in the library and at the Town Council’s East Court offices and can be downloaded below.
