East Court Live
East Court Live is a successful summer programme consisting of three annual live music events held outdoors on the terraces of the East Court Estate, College Lane, East Grinstead RH19 3LT. This was started by in 2012 and popularity has grown with it now being a well-known town event, with attendance being approximately 2,000 people. These events are organised by East Grinstead Town Council as a free entry event for the local community to enjoy.
The estate is set within picturesque parkland in the tranquil Sussex countryside, offering breathtaking views of Ashdown Forest in the distance and is home to East Court Live!
Each year, on the first Sunday of June, July and August, the terraces of East Court Mansion play host to a series of free, live music, events for the enjoyment of the residents of East Grinstead (and beyond!).

The event will open to the public from 12 noon. The acts are on stage on the hour from 1pm and the event draws to a close at 5pm. You are welcome to bring along a picnic or buy food and drink from one of the food vendors and the fully licenced bar on site.

FAQs
Is food and drink available? Absolutely! We’ll have an amazing selection of local food vendors, plus a fully stocked licensed bar.
Can I bring my own food and drink to the event? You’re welcome to bring your own food and drinks.
Food waste and rubbish – please dispose of your waste in the correct bins provide or take home with you.
May I bring my dog? Yes, well-behaved dogs are permitted but must be kept on a short lead at all times.
Is there parking available? Yes, we do have parking on-site on the lower field, but spaces are limited. If possible, we encourage you to walk, or car-share. There is limited blue badge parking at the top of East Court near the Mansion House.
Are there cash machines nearby? The closest cash machines are in the town centre, but don’t worry—you can pay at the bar and food vendors using contactless, debit, or credit cards.
Are there toilets? Yes. Toilets, including disabled and baby-changing facilities, are available on-site.
What is disabled access like? The Lower Terrace is accessible via a wide, flat path from the car park and wheelchair users should have no trouble getting around. However, the viewing area is mostly grass. Limited disabled parking is available near East Court Mansion, adjacent to the garden. If you need access, let our Traffic Marshalls know and they will direct you. We’ll do our best to accommodate you, but space is limited. If you have specific needs, please reach out to our team to discuss them.
Can I bring a gazebo or umbrella? No gazebos or umbrellas are allowed on the terraces but they can be put up past the walled area.
The event is a bit loud—who can I contact? We understand that events create noise that isn’t part of East Grinstead’s usual Sunday atmosphere. We constantly monitor the sound levels to ensure they comply with The Noise Council’s code of practice on environmental noise at concerts.
