This is an all grass privately owned campsite located in a beautiful and very tranquil 10 acre field. To ensure you have an enjoyable and comfortable stay we have provided fresh drinking water, chemical waste disposal and separate ladies and gents toilets. There is, however, no electric hook up or showers. We do allow campfires only if they are contained within a fire basket (we can hire these to you and logs are available for purchase). Enjoy remarkable panoramic views from the comfort of your camp chair.

Forest Garden Shovelstrode is an eco-retreat, offering luxury glamping accommodation in traditional Yurts & rustic Log Cabins within an ancient woodland. A place to unwind and immerse yourself in nature. Each Yurt & Cabin has a twin gas ring cooker, a double bed with an additional double sofa bed. There is a toasty wood burner inside, and a BBQ, open fire pit and seating area outside for toasting marshmallows under the stars. There are several craft courses on offer, such as green woodworking or bee Keeping, or a range of activities to choose from such as horse riding, cycling, willow weaving, horse-drawn carriage, yoga, or Shinrin-Yoku (forest bathing). Massage can also be arranged for guests either in their yurt/cabin, or outdoors in the magical woodland. Facilities: 2 loos, 2 hot showers, parking, campfires/BBQs allowed, logs sold, dogs not allowed.

WOWO campsite is a beautiful, family friendly, campsite in the heart of Sussex specialising in campfires, back to basic camping, glamping, family groups and much much more. Every pitch has its own campfire and benches to relax in the evenings. WoWo is not just a campsite, but is also an educational centre offering courses in everything from bushcraft to foraging and yoga. We have a large music program every weekend so all campers can come for free entertainment and even join in. Site has some accessible facilities and accepts dogs (see website) but unfortunately does not cater for caravans. On-site shop for all your needs, with local produce including artisan bread & craft beer. Woodland trail & rope swings. Well established, popular site, requires pre-booking.
