Public Services
This committee considers the effect of work of other bodies on to the Town and Town Council. For example: other Councils (especially concerning health, licensing and highways matters); Network Rail; Gatwick Airport or the Police Authority. Regular updates on changes to their services, their performance etc. are discussed. This committee may be responsible for agreeing consultation responses where these bodies are consulting with the public over proposed changes.
The committee will give feedback and make representations concerning the delivery of other organisations services, with the aim of providing the right level of delivery for East Grinstead.
