Sunnyside Youth Club
East Grinstead Town Council identified a clear need for more youth provision in the local area and responded by launching a brand-new Youth Club in September 2024. Since opening, the club has been extremely successful, offering a welcoming and supportive environment for young people to spend time, make friends, and take part in fun activities. We now offer two separate age-group sessions:

The Youth Club is completely free to attend, with an optional tuck shop where young people can purchase snacks. Please bring £1 cash (optional).
Our aim is to provide a safe, friendly space where young people can relax, access peer support, build confidence, and explore new opportunities outside of the school environment. Each week we offer a variety of activities including games, crafts, creative projects, and much more.
We currently have spaces available in both groups.

March 2025 update
Since staring Sunnyside Youth Club in September 2024, we have had a big intake of young people. Due to this we have separated the group into two, and both groups meet twice a month. As a result, we are now full for both groups.
Some of the fun things we have done is a Graffiti workshop with Jay’s Paint Shop, Rock Climbing at Blackland Farm, First Aid with Sussex Search & Rescue to name a few. We had use of a smoothie bike and all the young people loved using this!
Coming up we are having a quiz night for the young people and the Town Mayor will be the quiz master!
At the end of April, we will be attending a Judo workshop courtesy of Keisen Judo Club.
We also do lots of inhouse crafts as well as our usual activities of Wii Fit, pool table, ping pong table, football table, games & team building activities.
