Whitehall Cinema bombing
On 9 July 1943, 108 people lost their lives when the Whitehall Cinema was bombed in London Road, East Grinstead with another 235 people injured.
There is a communal grave in Mount Noddy Cemetery (bottom of Section 4C) where 22 casualties are buried, see link below. The burial location along with the casualty names are shown below. There are also names along with locations shown for casualties that had individual burials.
