Grounds and Open Spaces

East Grinstead is exceptionally fortunate in the number, quality and standard of it’s various parks, recreation grounds and children’s play areas. Most of these are in the ownership of Mid Sussex District Council, having in the main been transferred to that authority by the former East Grinstead Urban District Council on local government re-organisation in 1974.
