Allotments

East Grinstead Town Council is the allotments authority for the parish. Altogether there are 238 plots on two sites. These sites are leased to independent Allotment Associations who manage the sites on a day-to-day basis, undertake all lettings, set rents and collect income and carry out site improvements.

In addition there is a shop at the Mount Noddy Allotments site that is open on Saturday mornings. For a small annual fee allotment tenants on both sites and others with an interest in horticultural matters, who must be affiliate members, can purchase seeds, compost and plants at close to wholesale prices.

Mount Noddy

This site, that comprises 148 plots, is located to the north of the town with vehicular access through St Johns Road that is to be found 400 metres east of the Moat Road junction with London Road. There is a car park in Mount Noddy Recreation Ground. Parking can be difficult at peak periods. Imberhorne

This site, with 90 plots, has pedestrian only access off Imberhorne Lane some 300 metres west of the junction with the A22 London Road. There is a free public car park only 100 metres from the site entrance.
