THE town’s traders are gearing up to repeat last year’s highly successful Spring Sunday event on 11 April using the slogan East Grinstead at its Sunday Best.

The Council’s outdoor staff will be decking the High Street with St George’s Day bunting for the event which will combine the charm of the historic town centre with a unique mixture of live music, flowers, vintage buses and traditional fare for a fun family day out.

Among the stalls already confirmed for the day are:

• Orchard Nursery
• Dave from the Farmers Market
• The Llama Park
• Hog Roast
• Cupcake stall
• Vintage Bus
• Lace makers
• Bee keepers
• Town Museum
• Chequer Mead costume hire
• Bluebell Railway
• Belly dancers
• and Sackville College.

Other attractions are also promised for the day. Profits from the event will go to the Peanut Ward at the Queen Victoria hospital.
