East Grinstead Athletic Club will again be organising the cross-country races for the local primary schools on Sunday October 14 on the East Court playing fields. This will be the 41st year that the races have taken place. The very first races in 1978 took place on the Beeching Way road before it was opened for cars, but since then the races have taken place at East Court. The last few years there have also been races for secondary school runners in years 7, 8 and 9.

Race start times.

13.30: Years 7 and 8 girls

14.00: Years 8 and 9 boys

15.00: Primary girls

15.30: Primary boys
