East Grinstead Schools Cross Country races

 East Grinstead Athletic Club will be organising the primary schools cross-country races on the East Court playing fields on Sunday October 9. 

There will also be races for secondary school athletes in years 7 and 8 at 1.30 pm for girls and 2 o'clock for boys.

The girls primary school races will then start at 3 o'clock with the boys starting at 3.30. 

The successful athletes from the East Grinstead primary school races will then go on to represent the town in the mid-Sussex primary school championships which are scheduled to take place in January, again at East Court.

This will be the 39th year that the Athletic Club has organised these races with the first races in 1978 taking place along Beeching Way, just before the road was opened. Since then the races have been held at East Court.
