ET IN THE HEART OF EG ON THE 13TH OF SEPTEMBER FOR FREE
That’s right folks, we are hosting a FREE open air movie screening of ET in East Grinstead town centre, right in the heart of it. We are closing the historic high street for the evening on the 13th of September, being a Saturday Night, its completely free and to add to the evening we have two solo artist performing live and then the renowned Paul Dunton Orchestra, all before we hit play on this 80’s classic movie.
IT’S NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE!!
It’s never been done before in our town, that being an open air screening in the heart of the town, or the high street being closed for the evening for an event. Also this will be the oldest open air town centre screening in the UK.
Make sure your part of it and come along with chairs, sun loungers or cushions to sit back relax and enjoy what will be an exceptional evening, an event outside the box, pushing the envelope on local events and things to do.
It all kicks off at 6pm with the road closing, then live music from 6:30pm and then the movie starts at 8:30pm. We have Nero staying open late for all your hot drink needs, we have popcorn, milkshakes, candy floss, warm doughnuts and for the adult drinks Bar Kuba will be serving things in plastic. We also have fresh burgers and hotdogs.
EVERYTHING WE RAISE UP TO £2,000 WILL BE DOUBLED BY BARCLAYS BANK
Loads of free parking in East Grinstead’s car parks as well, so spread the word and be part of something that has never be done before and let’s make this a huge event.
All we ask is you bring loads of change for the charity collection we will be doing for the Peanut Ward on the night, everything we raise up to £2,000 will be doubled by Barclays Bank. So give big and lets raise a load for a great local cause.
