Established in 1998 by comedian Geoff Whiting, Mirth Control Comedy is the largest independent comedy booker in the UK.
They book over 100 comedy clubs and venues across Britain and throughout Europe too and we are pleased to welcome them to Chequer Mead. Mirth at the Mead will be a monthly comedy club showingcasing some of the best comedians on the circuit.
Tonight’s line up includes: Winner of 2009’s prestigious Funny Women Awards held at the Comedy Store- Miss London, NATY finalist Pete Dobbing, American comedienne Jennifer Belander, and Edinburgh Fringe and Melbourne Comedy Festival stalwart Yianni Agisilaou. Your compere for the evening will be Gary Colman, who is resident MC at the Edinburgh Preview shows at the Britannia Hackney.
