Commemoration and unveiling of the Sidney Godley VC plaque

 East Grinstead will be the first town in the UK to unveil one of the nationwide series of plaques to commemorate the award of the Victoria Cross. Sidney Godley V.C. will be remembered at the ceremony and marked in a suitable manner. The event, (details of which will follow later) will be held at the High Street War Memorial.
